NRFC v Chonburi Sunday 15^th Nov. 7.00 pm Preview.

The upcoming encounter pits top 5 team Chonburi Sharks against league newcomers NRFC and offers an intriguing matchup which I think could go either way.

Chonburi are a more technically gifted outfit but their season has been blighted by a plethora of draws which has dented their Championship ambitions – only diehard Sharks fans and the coaching staff will have opinions on why this is the case.  NRFC sit in a pretty creditable 8^th place and their recent form has led to a 9 match unbeaten run although of late they have found goals hard to come by.

The final result may ultimately depend on the relative performances of the team’s main characters and “rogues in chief” Thiago Cunha and Lee Tuck - the fans will be lucky to see this match end with 22 players on the pitch!!

The previous match between the two sides early in the season led to a 2-2 – a fair result in my eyes and a score that I feel might be replicated next week.
